We are witnessing revolutionary changes in Science, Technology and Engineering. For example, researchers, nowadays, utilize different fields of knowledge and sources of information to achieve the targeted goals. In accordance with these developments in technology, the 2nd Conference on Science, Technology and Engineering for early career researchers and postgraduate students (STEPS) aims to bring together early-career researchers and postgraduate students to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of science, technology and engineering.
Additionally, scientists are welcomed to this conference to share their experiences with early career researchers and postgraduate students. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers to present and discuss the recent innovations in these important fields.
Additionally, the gathering, which is planned to become an annual fixture, includes workshops to provide the needed training and preparation for the future of early career researchers and postgraduate students. An important advantage that would accrue out of this gathering is the cross-fertilisation between the different research areas the development of a network of graduates and senior researchers.
STEPS 2022 will also be attended by well-known international and national professors and industrialists in these fields, and therefore will provide the crucial feedback mechanisms required in the enhancement of the research.
The participation of postgraduate students in this conference is a key activity in the development of the International research base as the meeting between postgraduate students and national and international experts will provide an exciting environment for the development of high-quality research. Additionally, STEPS 2022 provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to build industrial and educational contacts for future careers and collaborative works.
After a careful reviewing process, all the accepted papers will be published into IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, which are indexed in Scopus, as well as EI Compendex and Inspec.
